Trip to Dia Beacon with Billy

Hit up the Dia Beacon Museum this weekend with my friend Billy. Highly recommended for New Yorkers, $30 round trip on the train and admission. Really beautiful train ride, awesome museum, cool town.
Upon arrival, we noticed a small music festival happening nearby. After meeting the hippie who lived in a cabin on the Hudson river, we encountered this wonderful specimen. Unfortunately this angle does the parrot lady no justice. What you fail to see is the third Maccaw clinging to her side. That's right...accessorizing with no less than three parrots.
If you go on a trip with me, I'm going to take photos of you.
En route to a secret isolated peninsula area.
This is an overturned tree with bricks stuck to it's roots.

Queens/Harlem/Rorry's House

First attempt at keeping this blog going now that I'm back in New York. These are from a bike ride last night from Greenpoint to Queens and up into Harlem where I visited my friend Rorry and took some photos on her roof.
