That's four R's and four T's

This weekend my dear friend Andy got married to his long time girlfriend Stacy. Andy asked Ben and myself to be grooms men so we flew down Friday for the rehearsal, anticipating a rowdy reunion of old friends on Saturday.

I was not disappointed...

Much thanks to the Barrett and Magner families for hosting such an awesome event. The wedding was pretty large, complete with a photo booth, open bar, some great food, and a lot of good times. Being the asshole that I am, I managed to not take a single photo of the bride to be (sorry Stacy!). Fortunately the event was covered from every possible angle by just about everyone in attendance so there is no shortage of Stacy photos.

Good times all around, best wishes to the newly weds! The Curious Case of Benjamin Brucker.

Living the High Life.
Not sure what they were going for here, but the look on Andy's face seems to indicate they nailed it.

Grooms men. I totally orchestrated the symmetry in this one (not really).
If there's one thing you should know about Ben, it's that he LOVES Cliff Bars.
The face of a true fiend.
Like most of Andy's good ideas, his vows were scrawled on a scrap of paper moments before exchanging them.

Photographic proof that Aggie's stare has the ability to make men sneeze.

A half-assed test shot of Drew turned out nicely.
Old friends reunited.

Quizotic Show

A few weeks ago, my friends Cassie Raihl, Andrew Graham, and Graham Collins invited me to participate in a group show they were organizing. It sounded pretty cool, a show curated by artists who wanted to show their friend's work so I submitted a diptych to be shown. The photos below are from the opening on September 19th, which, in my opinion was overwhelmingly successful; a lot of awesome work shown, great views of the city, and Budweisers fished from tubs of ice. Thanks again to Cassie, Andrew, and Graham for putting it all together and to all my friends that showed up.

Photo by Alix Winsby. Really awesome.

I think if I saw these photos in a gallery, I'd probably buy them for a million dollars.

Andrew Graham, one of the show's organizers. Not sure who did the truck. Not sure who did the train either, but it's pretty amazing.

Hoping not to catch any flak from the Snackmaster for releasing these photos before they hit Pitchfork.

It's just not an art opening if you aren't shotgunning Budweisers on a roof at some point.
