Kaldbakur/Come Back


Images from our trip to Myvatn. The photo above and the one below are the pseudocraters. I guess not cool enough to be real craters. The name has something to do with the formation. I believe these were formed when hot lava hit cold water. Or something. I am no geologist.
Our third stop in Myvatn, after the pseudocraters. We followed this path through the woods and wound up on the edge of a lake with turquoise water and these amazing rock formations.
