The Hague or Taking Pictures of Buildings from Street Level

It's almost painful to look at these photos. This was the set up for out last dinner/presentation in Renkum.

A bike ride to the lake

Maybe not an amazing picture, but I just love the country.

Found a lake biking around Renkum one day.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this picture is definitely Dutch.

Day Trip to Amersfoort

A day trip to visit Boris and Katinka. Amersfoort is a beautiful city. These bikes are in Ede-Waginingen, I think images like this are a lot of New Yorker's worst nightmares. Think of how many cars you could park where all those bikes are!

Things are so out of hand there they even put bikes on walls.

Just some typical Amersfoort building.

I'm not the biggest fan of children, but I am the biggest fan of these two. They're awesome.

A Beautiful Place

Some photos from Renkum and Wageningen. This car was in Wageningen.

This was a psychiatric hospital near our house.

These are the deer at the hospital for the patients to have something nice to look at. We definitely have better health care in the US. DEFINITELY.




I guess they can't always be majestic and graceful.

You should blow this up to truly get the full effect of what you're not allowed to do with this ladder. I definitely blatantly disregarded the one that says don't use the ladder to jab power lines above you. I thought the Dutch were supposed to be open-minded?

Around Renkum

Photos from two days worth of bike rides around Renkum.



We stumbled across this castle about ten minutes away from our spot in Renkum on a bike ride one day. Kasteel Doorwerth I believe.

Can't see the forest.


There were several ferries that would gladly drive you the 20 feet across the Rhine.

Can't read Dutch, but it was pretty clear it was gonna cost me 75 Euro cents to cross this river.
