The End
Wow. After three months, I have finally finished color correcting all the digital photos from Europe!
Oh right, no one really cares but me. I should probably buy an ice cream sandwich to celebrate anyway. Next up:12 rolls of film and 60 Polaroids to scan.
We awoke to commotion outside our hotel, some sort of event was being set up. It turned out to be a display of traditional Cretan dancing. It was absolutely amazing to see how much love of tradition and heritage the people here had.
A woman saw Anna photographing the dancers, grabbed her and shoved her to the front row of observers so she could have a better view of the dancers. Where else does something like that happen?
Beautiful Wysteria.
Our last few hours in Crete, we climbed to the top of one of the towers that made the old city wall. On top was a field of wild flowers. The battery on Anna's camera died. These are the last two photos of the trip.
The end is always sad.
